LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

• Conduct routine experiments such as raw materials or intermediates use tests and prepare test reports.
• Conduct non-routine experiments such as process optimisation or technology transfer assigned by the Technical Development Chemists or Engineers.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the workspace, such as laboratory or analytical rooms.
• Assist Technical Development Chemist in investigation and data collection for process-related matters.
• Support irregular work hours for campaign monitoring.
• Carry out maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and/or equipment.
• Maintain laboratory inventory through early procurement and preparation of consumables.
• Selection and procurement of appropriate laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in Chemical related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work as a team in the department
• Able to perform night shift when needed
