Laboratory Technician (Quality Control | Production)

• 12 hours rotating shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing and analyze in-process samples using appropriate instruments and equipment

• Prepare chemical reagents for testing and analysis

• Report test results promptly to the Production Supervisor and QC team, especially when abnormalities are detected

• Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials and inform supervisors on acceptance status

• Calibrate and validate laboratory equipment daily (e.g., pH meter, analytical balance, KF titrator) and verify performance using control samples

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments handle gas cylinder change when required

• Raise maintenance requests and notify supervisors and QC team of any equipment issues

• Assist in installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of lab equipment

• Prepare equipment for maintenance and ensure proper isolation of energy sources

• Support emergency response drills and safety activities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment following 5S standards

• Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and procedures

• Contribute to continuous improvement of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) programs

• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or QC personnel

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.

• At least 3 years working experience as Laboratory or Chemical Technician in a chemical industry.
