Job Scope
Implementation and execution of chemical and/or physical testing methodologies in accordance with established laboratory procedures, industry standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure that all testing activities are conducted with accuracy, consistency, and in compliance with internal quality requirements.
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new laboratory instruments and analytical equipment. This includes supporting the development of new testing methodologies, performing method validation, and ensuring that analytical methods meet required performance criteria such as accuracy, repeatability, and reliability.
Plan, organize, and monitor laboratory testing capacity to meet both internal operational needs and external project requirements. This includes prioritizing workloads, optimizing laboratory resources, and ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
Conduct thorough investigations of laboratory measurement deviations, anomalies, or non-conformances. Document findings, perform root cause analysis where necessary, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommended corrective or preventive actions.
Prepare and compile regular technical reports, including quarterly and monthly analytical reports, as well as specialized reports when required. These reports summarize laboratory performance, analytical results, trends, and key findings in accordance with internal documentation and reporting standards.
Provide technical support to production and operational teams by assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities. Recommend suitable internal and external laboratory testing techniques to analyze production issues and support process improvements.
Coordinate and facilitate correlation studies and round robin testing programs across multiple sites or laboratories to ensure consistency, reliability, and comparability of analytical and measurement methods used within the organization.
Requirements
Degree in chemical Process, Applied Science or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Physics)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory or testing role, preferably in the semiconductor industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in using lab equipment, instrumentation, and data analysis software
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
