We are looking for a meticulous and organized Laboratory Administrative Assistant to support our lab operations, with a primary focus on administrative tasks (approximately 80% of the role). The position also includes basic physical lab testing responsibilities (approximately 20%). This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and is comfortable working occasionally in a lab setting.
A) Administrative Functions
- Scan, organize, and archive laboratory documents and records
- Update and maintain data logs, spreadsheets, and databases
- Sort and manage instruction manuals and technical documentation
- Perform filing and retrieval of records in accordance with internal protocols
B) 5S & Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lab and administrative areas
- Implement and uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Dispose of lab waste in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
C) Simple Laboratory Testing
- Conduct basic physical tests
- Record and report test results accurately
- Ensure proper handling of samples and testing materials
- Support lab technicians with routine tasks as needed
