Lab Technician (Oil Testing Lab)

• Conduct laboratory testing for Base, Sediment and Water (BSW), Water by Distillation, Flash Point, Viscosity etc.
• Assist Chemists in ad hoc testing, including Ash Content , Sediment by Extraction , Calorific Value (CV) etc.
• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for final products.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) for weighbridge consumables through D365
• Perform LIMS and D365 system updates.
• Monitor weighbridge operation and update related data accordingly

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Diploma / Graduate Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Responsible, proactive, goal-oriented, and a good team player with strong communication skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a related field is preferred.
