Lab Technician cum Academic Assistant needed!
Locations: Orchard / Tampines Campus
Salary range: S$2200 - S$2800 (commensurate with experience)
Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Render technical support for the laboratories and to assist Teachers in the day-to-day running of the science laboratories
- Planning monthly lab schedule for all laboratories lessons
- Preparing monthly lab reports
- Doing set up, trial and demonstration for all experiments
- Monthly inventory list and stock taking for equipment, chemical and lab coat
- Purchase of chemicals and apparatus
- Ensure proper storage of chemicals, diluting of certain chemicals for storage etc
- Prepare teaching materials for new intakes
- Purchase of Academic Resources like books, stationery & teachers resources
- In charge of textbook collection by students or parents
- Ensure new teachers have their teaching resources during induction
- Taking care of the well-being of students
- Assisting with the Academic department in documentations such as arranging of relief teachers, sending memos/circulars to teachers, prepare teaching materials, exams materials etc
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Relevant working experience in a school lab environment preferred
- Able to work independently as well as a good team player
