Lab Supervisor

The role of the Lab Supervisor includes:

• Supervise and coordinate daily lab activities across departments to ensure timely and accurate testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Allocate tasks, set priorities, schedule work, and ensure timely reporting to support plant operations.
• Provide technical guidance, review analytical results for rubber, latex, and instrumental methods to meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Oversee method development, validation, and modification, and manage operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
• Train and develop laboratory analysts, conduct performance reviews, and support succession planning.
• Ensure lab safety, data integrity, proper documentation, and manage inventory of supplies, reagents, and consumables efficiently.
• Support cross-functional projects, audits, inspections, and act as key laboratory contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

• 7-8 years experience in a chemical plant laboratory, preferably in manufacturing, with hands-on experience in Rubber, Solid, Slurry, and GC techniques.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in performing tests, documenting results, and following SOPs.
• Strong team player, able to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Adaptable to fast-paced work, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities efficiently.
