Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct equipment calibration, qualification, and performance verification.
• Monitor laboratory equipment performance and ensure operational reliability.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of new laboratory instruments.
• Coordinate with vendors for servicing, repairs, and technical support.
• Maintain maintenance records, calibration reports, and equipment documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, cleanroom protocols, and quality standards.
• Work closely with laboratory users, engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues.

Laboratory Equipment Exposure

Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in:Electronics EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringMechatronicsPrecision EngineeringInstrumentationApplied ScienceOr related disciplines
• Experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or calibration is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronics, or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
