The Advanced Materials Technology Centre (AMTC) is looking to hire a Lab Assistant to join the team. The Lab Assistant will play a hands-on role in supporting the team's researchers in their experiments.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support daily lab operations, ensuring the laboratory is well-maintained and ready for use at all times.
- Assist Scientists and Researchers in conducting experiments and calibrating instruments with precision and care.
- Guide and mentor students undertaking industry project work, helping them apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Contribute to marketing content creation, translating lab work and developed technologies into engaging content that showcases AMTC's capabilities.
Requirements:
- Diploma Holder, preferably with a background in Sciences
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Prior lab experience is a plus, but not required
Salary will commensurate with relevant experience.
