L1 IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals
• Assist with installation, configuration, and deployment of systems and applications
• Support network setup and basic maintenance
• Maintain proper documentation of support tickets and resolutions
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary
• Provide on-site or remote support to clients when required

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline
• Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, C#, or SQL
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and system support
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Possess a Class 3/3A driving licence (preferred for on-site support)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Comfortable interacting with clients directly and handling support issues independently
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly to technical situations
