Role - L1 Support Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for workstations, peripherals, applications and connectivity across assigned Singapore sites.
- Log, prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests within SLA.
- Collect diagnostic evidence and escalate to L2, infrastructure, application or vendor teams.
- Respond to outages and service degradation and provide timely updates.
- Maintain accurate ticket records, daily reports and shift handovers. . Follow SOPs, security controls and site-access requirements.
- Support trend analysis, automation and service improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma in IT, Computer Studies or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Knowledge of Windows endpoints, basic networking, peripherals and ServiceNow/Jira.
- Structured troubleshooting and basic SQL skills Unix/Linux exposure is beneficial.
- Clear communication, customer service and ability to work independently onsite.
- Eligible for the required security clearance and site access, and willing to be deployed or reassigned across Singapore based on capabilities, skills and operational needs.
- Available for 12-hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Good to have
- ITIL/ITSM knowledge and mission-critical support experience. Microsoft 365, Excel or Power BI reporting skills.
- Scripting, automation, monitoring or service-improvement experience.
