About the Job

  • Uphold full alignment with regulatory standards and internal operational protocols governing AML, CFT, and PF frameworks.

  • Execute comprehensive end-to-end Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) assessments for new onboarding, periodic updates, and event-driven triggers, evaluating customer risk levels, associated parties, and background credentials.

  • Analyze screening results and adverse media matches escalated by third-party vendor systems or internal teams.

  • Formulate well-reasoned risk evaluations, actionable guidance, and sign-offs within designated authorization thresholds, including the sign-off of Medium Risk profiles managed by team members.

  • Oversee team deliverables by monitoring output quality, work completion, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to business and processing divisions on compliance standards, manage partner expectations, and lead knowledge-sharing and training initiatives across the institution.

  • Deliver targeted training modules to internal team members and broader business units across the organization.

  • Partner with internal and external counterparties to optimize operational workflows while maintaining strict policy compliance.

  • Address CDD-related queries from business divisions while exercising sharp risk sensitivity within the AML/CFT/PF space.

  • Support risk mitigation efforts by identifying and executing process enhancements to optimize CDD and ECDD workflows.

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven track record in executing end-to-end ECDD evaluations, customer risk profiling, and complex entity structure reviews.

  • Strong expertise in analyzing name-screening hits, PEP matches, and adverse media escalations.

  • Prior experience in a supervisory capacity, with a background in reviewing team deliverables, managing turnaround times, and maintaining quality control.

  • Sound working knowledge of AML, CFT, and PF regulatory requirements and internal policy frameworks.

  • Excellent advisory skills with the ability to guide business partners, resolve CDD queries, and conduct compliance training sessions.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and refine operational processes.

  • Track record of identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to operational improvement initiatives.
