KY11 - Occupational Therapist

Position Title: Occupational Therapist Grade II

Location: Bright Hill

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:30AM - 6:00PM

Salary: $5,000 - $7,000

Job Description

. Provide Occupational Therapy services for assigned inpatient, outpatient, and home care caseloads.

. Provide coverage for assigned wards and ensure continuity of care.

. Conduct initial assessments and periodic reassessments for active rehabilitation and maintenance cases.

. Develop individualized rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.

. Perform weekly reviews, treatment updates, and discharge planning.

. Follow up with patients under supervision.

. Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and family meetings.

. Comply with clinical guidelines and ensure proper handover arrangements during leave coverage.

. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.

. Ensure the safe use of rehabilitation equipment and report defects or incidents when required.

. Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic carry-over.

. Provide caregiver training when necessary.

. Apply evidence-based assessments and treatment interventions under supervision.

. Handle daily billing and organize caseload distribution.

. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including assessments, reassessments, treatment plans, memos, and incident reports in the Infocare system.

. Comply with Nursing Home Standards Guidelines and PDPA requirements.

. Participate in continuing professional development, in-service training, and community health education programmes.

. Assist in collecting and maintaining statistical information for regular reporting.

. Support patient engagement activities and observe referral trends.

Requirements

. Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).

. Registered with AHPC and possess a valid Practising Certificate.

. Possess a valid BCLS + AED certification.

. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.

. Experience in community care and aged care settings will be an advantage.

. Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related fields will be advantageous.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

. Able to travel between clients homes when required.

. Experience with interRAI is required.
