About the Role
An international law firm, with strong global footprint in Asia and recognised in Singapore for it's marketing-leading Banking & Finance practice is looking for a Knowledge Management Lawyer to support its Banking & Finance practice in Singapore, with some cross-support to other practice groups regionally. This is a hybrid role combining legal research, precedent development, training and business development support - ideal for a banking lawyer who wants to move into a knowledge-focused seat without stepping away from substantive legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and analysing legal and regulatory developments in banking & finance, and disseminating insights internally and externally
- Drafting and maintaining precedents - particularly APLMA facility documentation and security documents - to reflect changes in law, regulation and market practice
- Drafting and maintaining practice notes and client guides
- Advising fee-earners on structuring and legal issues arising in live transactions, and supporting their research
- Designing and delivering legal and industry-focused training to trainees, fee-earners and clients
- Supporting knowledge systems, technology adoption, and the practice group's knowledge strategy
Key Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial Banking & Finance experience (open to candidates from different specialisms within Banking & Finance)
- Approx. 5-8 PQE; Qualification in England & Wales and/or Singapore preferred
- Experience in designing and delivering effective, engaging training programmes
- Strong drafting and legal research skills
- Project management experience and a proactive, solutions-driven approach
