Chef (Korean Cuisine) - Kitchen Supervisor (Multi-Outlet Operations)
Responsibilities
- Prepare Korean cuisine dishes consistently according to company standards to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Supervise daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets to maintain operational efficiency and consistency
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and new hires to develop skills and uphold kitchen standards
- Standardize recipes and food quality across all locations to ensure uniformity and brand integrity
- Assist in managing inventory and controlling food costs to optimize kitchen profitability
- Go to other outlets to stand in if required.
- Daily stock ordering with various suppliers
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant kitchen experience demonstrating expertise in culinary operations
- Experience in Korean cuisine preparation within a commercial kitchen environment
- Supervisory or team leadership experience to effectively manage kitchen staff
- Experience working in high-volume or multi-outlet kitchen operations to handle operational complexities
- Strong ability to train and lead a kitchen team to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Experience in administrative duties such as supplier invoices and claims reconciliation, staff scheduling and any other ad hoc duties.
- Ability to communicate with staffs from various nationalities
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Physically fit and able to handle kitchen duties.
