Job Description

Chef (Korean Cuisine) - Kitchen Supervisor (Multi-Outlet Operations)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Korean cuisine dishes consistently according to company standards to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets to maintain operational efficiency and consistency
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and new hires to develop skills and uphold kitchen standards
  • Standardize recipes and food quality across all locations to ensure uniformity and brand integrity
  • Assist in managing inventory and controlling food costs to optimize kitchen profitability
  • Go to other outlets to stand in if required.
  • Daily stock ordering with various suppliers

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant kitchen experience demonstrating expertise in culinary operations
  • Experience in Korean cuisine preparation within a commercial kitchen environment
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience to effectively manage kitchen staff
  • Experience working in high-volume or multi-outlet kitchen operations to handle operational complexities
  • Strong ability to train and lead a kitchen team to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Experience in administrative duties such as supplier invoices and claims reconciliation, staff scheduling and any other ad hoc duties.
  • Ability to communicate with staffs from various nationalities
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Physically fit and able to handle kitchen duties.
