The Kitchen Helper will be responsible for the assigned jobs related to the day-to-day operations of the school.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare & serve student/teachers meals daily
- Prepare daily fruits and snacks for students
- Do packing of catering meal/snack for students
- Keep track of kitchen groceries ensuring a (FIFO) First IN First OUT practices.
- Follow Health Promotion Board Guidelines on food preparation for schools and hygiene procedures
- Adhere to SFA basic food hygiene standards
- Washing of dishes and utensils
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen
- Maintain clean kitchen equipment
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the kitchen
- Working experience in school setting is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification
