Kitchen Assistant (School Operations Support)

Job Description:

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the NFS food lab (kitchen) and preparation room.
• Wash, clean and store kitchen equipment, utensils, aprons and cleaning cloths.
• Prepare ingredients for practical lessons (cutting, weighing and packing).
• Organize and replenish ingredients, equipment and storage areas.
• Assist with stock checking of perishable food items.
• Operate basic kitchen equipment (e.g. rice cooker ,blender, steamer).
• Ensure kitchen appliances, gas taps and knives are properly secured.
• Receive and verify food deliveries and orders.
• Support NFS teachers during practical lessons.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum Primary School education.
• At least 3 years experience in food handling, kitchen operations, or simple administrative duties (preferably in a school or educational environment).
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Responsible, organised, andable to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
