As a Commercial Product Director in the Kinexys Digital Assets team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Kinexys Digital Asset business objectives in the APAC region, with a focus on identifying and developing commercial opportunities with prospects, clients, industry partners and internal stakeholders.
- Drive growth by seeking new business opportunities with industry leaders, maintaining a strategic pipeline, and providing insights to Kinexys leadership.
- Cultivate relationships with internal teams to enhance understanding and engagement with digital asset offerings, supporting client interactions across financial services related to tokenized assets.
- Identify new business opportunities by staying informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in digital asset ecosystems and develop business cases for incremental investment.
- Collaborate with productdelivery teams todevelop blockchain solutions, ensuringalignment to client needs and commercial viability.
- Monitor competitive landscape to identify trends and maintainKinexys leadership in digital asset services.
- Create marketing materials that highlight the benefits of traditional services applied to digital assets, supporting platform expansion and application enhancement.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives exploring public blockchain infrastructure for client solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in digital asset engagements.
- Partner with legal, compliance and other internal stakeholders to ensure products are compliant and commercially viable.
- Own client contracting and commercial negotiations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years experience in business development, sales, or product management related to financial services, including some exposure to digital assets or emerging technologies.
- Experience of securities services or working with providers, with a strong understanding of the complexities and regulatory requirements of asset servicing.
- Experience in commercializing technology platforms or delivering complex client solutions that integrate traditional and emerging technologies.
- Strong focus on execution and attention to detail, managing multiple client relationships and initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence, capable of presenting complex concepts to senior executives and clients.
- Ability to work independently and identify new business opportunities in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in tokenization and challenging traditional market practices, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
- Comfortable presenting strategies to senior management and clients, and working with both fintech startups and traditional institutions.
- Deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain, and related applications, including the impact and application of these technologies to capital markets and post-trade servicing.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Knowledge of regulations governing digital assets and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in complex financial institutions with multiple business lines and regulatory oversight.
- Experience in building platform business models in financial services.
- Experience with tokenization of traditional financial products on blockchain
- Experience in ecosystem development and facilitating partnerships between traditional and digital asset innovators.
