About the Client and Role
A well-established international freight forwarding and logistics group with a strong footprint across Southeast Asia, delivering end-to-end sea freight and supply chain solutions.
This is a high-ownership (account servicing) role suited for someone commercially astute, operationally strong, and confident in managing key accounts and its operations within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment (Sea Freight).
- Work location: Changi South
- 5 days work week
- Salary package up to 85k per annum (excluding bonus payout)
Key Scope:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key clients and shippers throughout the shipment lifecycle
- Oversee full-cycle sea freight operation (Import / Export / Cross Trades)
- Handle booking, documentation, customs coordination, and system updates
- Ensure accurate CargoWise file creation and shipment tracking
- Liaise with overseas agents and internal offices to ensure seamless execution
- Maintain operational compliance with internal SOPs and shipping processes
- Take full accountability and ownership of assigned accounts
The Ideal Candidate should be/have:
- 5 to 10 years of logistics/freight forwarding experience
- Strong hands-on experience in sea freight operations (Import & Export) is essential
- Knowledge of customs, warehousing, and general logistics in Singapore
- Proven client engagement and relationship management experience
- Enthusiastic, passionate, energetic, proactive, thorough, organized and self-motivated
- Willing to learn outside of specific job role
- Prepared to work overtime (only when needed) and not afraid of increased workload
