Our client is distributor for Toys & Games / Lifestyle products. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and industry data to identify new business opportunities.
- Explore emerging markets and develop partnerships to expand brand presence.
- Generate leads through networking, outreach, and industry events.
- Develop strong product knowledge across all Play Nation brands and consumer segments.
- Create sales materials to educate partners on product lines.
- Curate channel-specific product assortments and craft sell-in strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account managers across retail and distribution channels.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, distributors, and other external partners to support business growth.
- Drive sales performance and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Use internal and external data to forecast sales trends, stock needs, and product demand.
- Provide actionable insights based on analytics.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Logistics and Design to support channel needs.
- Articulate key customer insights to influence internal decisions and support business planning.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, FMCG, or similar industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and general PC skills.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Passion for the Games & Toys industry is an added advantage.
