Your Role:
The National Account Key Account Manager mission is to lead the growth in your assigned vertical portfolio, year on year. With proactive identification of new opportunities for attractive value propositions, selling activities in accordance to the Company's guidelines and accurate management of the CRM system, your focus is on account growth and securing a prosperous pipeline of development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned Key Accounts in accordance to agreed targets ad vertical development of the country.
- Establish full understanding and mapping of each assigned client under the Key Account Plan format.
- Ensure use of Key Account Plan in alignment with each accounts, RFQs and reviews.
- Work effectively with business units for the transition of new business into operations, ensuring that customer requirements and Kuehne + Nagel commitments are met.
- Partner with Product and Customer Solutions to develop solutions for assigned clients, to ensure value creations across industry specific innovative developments.
- Promote client opportunities within overseas vertical network, teams and products.
- Monitor monthly performance against set targets and reporting with immediate actions taken in case of any deviations.
- Compliance of Key Account Management processes and systems, ensuring timely and accurate updates in CRM system.
- Complete Monthly & Quarterly business reviews, involving the business units for performance matters and improvements and customer solutions for innovation & continuous improvement mapping.
- Strengthen and develop external industry vertical network relations, representing Kuehne + Nagel as an industry expert in assigned field.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management/ International Business Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Sales role, particularly within Supply Chain and Freight Forwarding.
- Proven business acumen to identify opportunities within the vertical's logistics domain.
- Great organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and make sound decisions.
- Excellent understanding of key account management, with a clear and solution-driven approach in enabling successful account management.
- Strong communicator with written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Competent cross-functional management skills to influence key stakeholders and manage conflicts.
