Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to lead and nurture relationships with our most valued clients in the physical security industry. This role is pivotal in driving long-term business growth through strategic account management and solution-oriented sales.
You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's video surveillance and audio solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are fully understood and met.
- Drive business growth by building new strategic key accounts from the ground up, leveraging market research, outbound outreach, and solution-based selling to convert prospects into long-term partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, delivering tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts by promoting relevant products and services.
- Support and promote marketing outreach efforts by driving partner engagement at events, showcasing the company's offerings, and enhancing brand visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance, resolve issues proactively, and ensure long-term client retention.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with high-value customers, preferably within the physical security or related industries.
- Strong commercial acumen and consultative sales skills, with a talent for uncovering client needs and delivering impactful solutions.
- Good understanding of the physical security industry, including on project bidding, main contractor management and system integrator business landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
Qualifications :
- 310 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the physical security or related industries.
- Experience with Milestone Systems, Genetec, Gallagher, Lenel, Digifort, or similar security systems (CCTV and Card Access Control technologies) is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated success in delivering tailored solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong background in providing security solutions to enterprise clients and managing the sales cycle in CCTV or IP Video Surveillance industries.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Electrical, or Electronic fields would be advantageous.
