We are seeking a results-driven and client-focused Key Account Manager to manage strategic customer accounts, including supermarkets and food service clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term partnerships, understanding client needs, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and sustainable revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Thinking & Execution

  • Develop commercial plans and execution models with internal stakeholders.
  • Formulate and drive Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key accounts.
  • Identify market trends and develop strategies to outperform competitors.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create annual activity plans.
  • Plan and execute BTL (below-the-line) activities, including promotional mechanics and in-store merchandising (POSM), with Marketing/Trade Marketing.

Sales & Profit Delivery

  • Drive effective channel and product range strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated business plans for account growth.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy development across SKUs, balancing profit and market competitiveness.
  • Implement Point-of-Purchase strategies to maximize trade spend efficiency.
  • Manage trade spend allocations at the category level in support of route-to-market strategies.
  • Evaluate promotional cost-effectiveness and ROI by channel and customer.
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews and category management initiatives with retailers.

Account Management & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key retail accounts.
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Develop and implement channel differentiation strategies.

Compliance

  • Ensure proper implementation of contracts and adherence to agreed terms.
  • Maintain compliance with competition laws and anti-bribery regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of key account management experience in FMCG or retail.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Strategic Category Management
  • Trade Spend Management
  • Customer-focused account development
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
