Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key customers and key distributors to ensure that sales targets are met at company, distributor and account levels.
  • Defend market share, drive conversions in Blood Culture, Lab Automation, ID/AST and HPV, BD MAX and explore growth areas within the DS portfolio to achieve significant growth and gain relevance in the market.
  • Run high‑quality DS product presentations, instrument demos and evaluations for customer evaluation and conversion.
  • Support quotations, tender submissions, proposals as needed.
  • Drive post‑install success: work with applications and service teams to drive customer onboarding, training coordination, and service handoffs.
  • Liaise with key internal departments and associates and develop cross-functional contacts critical to business performance.
  • Actively contribute to Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) and all aspects of Commercial Excellence including CRM hygiene (leads, opportunities, activities, assets), by following the BD Way of Selling to meet or exceed sales revenue and profitability objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customers changing needs.
  • Demonstrates business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of successful, relevant healthcare & medical device/pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience in multi-national companies is preferred.
  • Excellent English is preferred.
