The Company

Our client is a reputable multinational corporation (MNC) with a strong global presence. They are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant.

The Role

This role supports the Finance Operations team and is responsible for the end-to-end management of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA) activities. Key responsibilities include month-end and year-end closing, journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, invoicing, receivables management, and maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.

The position also plays a key role in the company's SAP S/4HANA environment, managing fixed asset accounting, depreciation, asset capitalization and disposals, while supporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvements.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, with 5 years of relevant accounting operations experience. You should have strong hands-on experience in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, AR and FA accounting, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
