Company Description
At alice, we redefine the norm by focusing on what truly matters—the message. As a video communications agency, we specialise in creating narratives that connect brands with their audiences. Our culture emphasises agility, sustainability, and long-term growth, welcoming fresh perspectives and bold ideas into our team.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore for a Junior Video Producer at alice.
If you're looking to build a career in video production and want hands-on experience managing real projects, this role is for you.
You'll work alongside our Producers and Executive Producer to bring video projects from concept to screen. You'll gain exposure to the full production process — from developing ideas and coordinating shoots to working with clients, managing timelines, and seeing projects through post-production.
We're looking for someone who is organised, curious, proactive, and eager to learn. You don't need to know everything from day one. What matters is that you take ownership, communicate well, and are willing to figure things out.
As you grow in the role, you'll be given increasing ownership of projects and opportunities to develop into an independent Video Producer.
What You'll Do
- Support Producers in managing video projects from briefing through final delivery
- Assist with project timelines, schedules, budgets, and production logistics
- Coordinate shoots, including crew, talent, locations, equipment, call sheets, and other production requirements
- Communicate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors throughout the production process
- Participate in creative development, research, scripting, and pre-production
- Coordinate post-production workflows, including edits, feedback, and final deliverables
- Track project expenses and maintain accurate project documentation
- Help identify potential production challenges and work with the team to find solutions
- Attend shoots and support on-set production
- Take ownership of smaller projects as you gain experience and confidence
What You'll Learn
You'll gain hands-on experience in:
- Managing video projects from start to finish
- Client and stakeholder communication
- Production planning and coordination
- Budgeting and cost management
- Working with directors, crew, talent, editors, animators, and other creatives
- Managing timelines and competing priorities
- Creative problem-solving in real-world production environments
- Building the skills needed to independently manage projects as a Video Producer
What We're Looking For
- Around 1 year of experience in video production, media, content, or a related role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude — you don't wait to be told about every next step
- Resourceful and comfortable figuring things out when plans change
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Collaborative and comfortable working with different personalities
- Curious, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback
- Genuine interest in video production, storytelling, and communications
Experience with production coordination, client-facing work, or managing video projects is a plus, but we care just as much about attitude, potential, and willingness to learn.
This position is currently open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
