MCS Group is seeking a Junior Broker to join our expanding team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior brokers in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Conduct market research and monitor commodities products pricing trends.
- Support the team in executing trades, managing client inquiries, and distributing market information.
- Prepare reports and presentations on market trends, pricing, and trading opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of hedging strategies, contract structures, and trading flows in the ferrous market.
- Maintain and update trading databases, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
- Work towards achieving KPIs and contributing to revenue growth over time.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in commodities trading, sales, or a related field (internships or relevant exposure in commodity preferred).
- A strong interest in the commodity trading and brokerage industry with a willingness to learn.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance,Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, target-driven,and eager to develop a career in broking.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and an understanding of market data platforms is a plus.
