Junior Technician (Cleanroom Operations & Logistics)
Salary: Up to $3,100 per month
Work Location & Hours
- First 2 weeks: Tampines Industrial Crescent, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Thereafter: Customer site in Woodlands
- Swing shift arrangement:
Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am - 5:30pm or
Sunday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Job Responsibilities
- Operate automated cleaning equipment and perform cleaning of quartz and mechanical components according to established SOPs.
- Safely handle and inspect fragile, high-value semiconductor parts.
- Receive, unpack and verify incoming parts against relevant documentation.
- Prepare, kit and issue parts to engineering teams.
- Coordinate parts sent to external vendors for repair, including RMA processing and turnaround tracking.
- Update ERP/WMS systems accurately for stock movements, repairs and scrap transactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and digital records.
- Follow Class 10/100 cleanroom procedures, chemical safety requirements and PPE guidelines.
- Perform other related cleanroom, inventory and logistics duties as required.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor wafer fab, cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with ERP/inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to handle fragile and high-value components carefully and accurately.
- Comfortable working with chemical cleaning systems and wearing required cleanroom PPE.
- Detail-oriented with good inventory control and record-keeping practices.
- Able to work according to the stated swing-shift arrangement.
