Junior Technical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating mechanical works such as equipment installation, maintenance, and repair in marine/shipyard projects
• Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of work
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, work progress updates, and documentation
• Monitor project schedules and support in tracking daily work progress
• Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials required for mechanical tasks
• Assist in troubleshooting basic mechanical issues under supervision
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for mechanical-related work
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audits and inspections

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree or ITE in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 0-2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices
• Exposure to marine shipyard / oil & gas environment is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work both in the office and in anon-site environment
