Junior Structural Engineer (Aluminium Structures & Facade Systems)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and development of aluminium structural systems and façade components.
• Perform structural calculations and prepare design reports in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct site visits to support technical clarifications, inspections, and troubleshooting when required.
• Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support value engineering exercises to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of all engineering deliverables.
• Assist senior engineers in project planning, scheduling, and technical submissions.

• Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in aluminium structures and façade design.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and building codes.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, or equivalent).
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
