We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef (Western Cuisine) to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations for Western cuisine.
- Prepare and cook high-quality Western dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and trainees during service.
- Support menu development and creation of new Western dishes.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Western kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
