Key Responsibilities
- Liaise and collaborate with customers to resolve service issues and provide technical solutions for scientific and analytical equipment such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP systems.
- Work closely with internal sales and regional technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Perform installation, commissioning, training, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of analytical instruments at customer sites.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and act as a technical advisor.
- Identify opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
- Prepare service and spare parts quotations in response to customer enquiries.
- Conduct hands-on training for end users, including scientists, engineers, and distributors.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in servicing scientific instruments (4+ years preferred).
- Knowledge of analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused mindset, and positive attitude.
- Good planning and time management abilities to ensure work efficiency.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Preferably possess own transport.
- Willingness to travel overseas for regional customer support.
