As a Robotics Engineer (Mechanical), you will primarily be involved in the design, prototyping and deploying hardware concepts in a robotics system. You will also be involved in development of the system's logic and control using the Eureka Controller and Eureka Camera. The use of Eureka products offer advanced functionalities in device control, robotics, computer vision, and AI for industrial automation.
Mechanical Engineering
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems, including actuators, grippers, frames, and structures.
Work closely with Robotics Engineers (Software) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components.
Use CAD software (SolidWorks / OnShape) to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
Conduct mechanical analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure design functionality, safety, and durability.
Develop and document design specifications, assembly instructions, and manufacturing guidelines.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the feasibility of designs and assist in the fabrication and assembly of prototypes.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during the development, testing, and production phases.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices.
System Development
Develop full-fledged robotics system using the Eureka Controller in close collaboration with Eureka's Product Team
Deliver advanced computer vision systems based on Eureka's technologies
Communicate with end-customers at every step to ensure that the system meet customers expectations while keeping any additional work to a minimum
Create system documentation, deliver training to integrators and end-users
Install the system on site, including: delivery, calibration, performing User Acceptance Tests, etc.
Perform maintenance on the installed system

Minimum
BSc degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Proficiency in Solidworks or OnShape.
Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with git and shell scripting.
Background in algorithmics (complexity) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
Preferred
Familiarity with professional working processes (presentation, document writing, planning, time-management).
Strong proficiency in Solidworks or OnShape.
Strong proficiency in Python programming for robotics or AI.
Solid background in algorithmics (proof of correctness, complexity in time and space) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics)
Knowledge of Robotics (kinematics, calibration, motion planning)
Knowledge of Computer Vision and AI (deep learning framework and tools)
