Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain infrastructure at the hypervisor level and above, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Common Services software (e.g., Nutanix, Hyper-V)
- Provision and manage virtual machines, user access rights, and network resources to meet operational requirements
- Ensure timely account provisioning and lifecycle management in accordance with established security policies and user privilege controls
- Install, configure, and maintain DevSecOps tools and services to ensure high availability and reliability
- Manage and configure virtual infrastructure components such as VLANs, Active Directory accounts, DNS, Certificate Authority (CA) servers, and related services
- Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and maintenance to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance
- Provide support and respond to client enquiries related to DevSecOps platforms and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure and DevSecOps resources
- Collaborate with team members to deliver operational support and project objectives
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining systems such as CentOS, Windows Server, RHEL, Nutanix, and similar platforms
- Solid foundation in systems administration principles and best practices
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a good understanding of DevOps and cloud computing best practices
- Working knowledge of containerisation technologies and cluster management (e.g., Kubernetes, OKD, OpenShift)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell (Windows) and/or Bash (Linux)
- Experience with configuration automation tools such as Ansible is an advantage
- Exposure to tools such as Nutanix Prism, GitLab, Parasoft, Fortify, ClearML, OpenShift, or similar platforms will be a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and users
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and develop new technical competencies
