Due to business expansion. They are seeking a motivated and driven Junior Sales Trader - Aluminium to join the Singapore office. This role will focus on developing and supporting Aluminium trading activities with Korean customers. The position requires frequent travel to Korea to build and maintain client relationships.

Role

Reporting to Senior Trader. The Junior Sales Trader will support and grow Aluminium sales and trading activities for the Korea market by building and maintaining strong relationships with Korean customers and business partners. The role involves assisting in pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and deal execution, while coordinating closely with internal teams including trading, operations, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth transaction flow. The successful candidate will monitor market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activities, prepare sales reports and market updates, and travel frequently to Korea to meet customers and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or sales support, preferably within commodities or a related industry. Korean language proficiency (both spoken and written) is required to effectively engage with Korean customers. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive, self-driven mindset. A willingness to travel frequently to Korea is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in commodities trading and eagerness to learn, as training will be provided.
