2-5 years experience: Knowledgeable in the financial credit markets, focused mainly on Fixed Income Securities
Existing institutional relationships preferably with Asian credit Fixed Income investors in the region would be highly favourable, especially in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong FIs
In the case of non-existing relationships, the aptitude to obtain and on-board new ones in a timely manner to compliment the needs of the desk
Execution of trades, maintenance of relationships. The trades executed may be for primary and secondary market.
The ability to be able to resolve issues swiftly and decisively when the need arises
The capacity to be a team player especially in an environment when client interest is of utmost priority, broker should be able to support positive team atmosphere in which members participate, respect and cooperate with each other to achieve desired results
Above average communication, negotiation and persuasion skills in order to communicate, deal and execute market orders effectively to both customers and colleagues on-site or off-site (client calls).
Suggest/contribute in business development and new products as needed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, CMFAS 1B and 6A
Native/Fluent in English and Mandarin (both oral and written communication)
Experience in the financial markets especially the Bond markets Credit space is a plus
Dynamic and a multitasker
Job entails fast paced markets which will require staff to perform under extreme pressure
May involve interaction with clients from time to time
