Job Summary
Support construction projects by managing cost estimation, tender preparation, progress claims, and site coordination to ensure accurate budgeting and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Calculate quantities and source subcontractors and suppliers to prepare competitive tender submissions
- Develop pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow forecasts to support financial planning
- Prepare progress claims, progress reports, and update monthly cost monitoring to track project budgets
- Manage project administration and documentation, including valuation of progress claims, variations, and final accounts
- Conduct site measurements and participate in site meetings to ensure accurate project tracking and communication
- Manage and communicate effectively with subcontractors and consultants to facilitate project coordination
- Utilize basic computer skills in MS Office and AutoCAD to support project documentation and reporting
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to support project and team needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent qualification
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the construction sector
