Junior Quantitative Trader

ExodusPoint Capital, founded in 2017 by Michael Gelband, began managing investor capital in 2018. It is led by Michael Gelband (CEO, CIO and Co-Founder). The Firm employs a global multi-strategy investment approach, seeking to deliver compelling asymmetric returns by combining complementary liquid strategies managed by experienced investment professionals within a robust risk framework. ExodusPoint has brought together an accomplished team, with hands-on experience running multi-manager businesses, to create an institutional investment management firm.

ExodusPoint is seeking a junior quant trader to join our Macro Systematic Strategies team. The candidate will work on quantitative and systematic trading strategies and portfolio optimization within our team.

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and execute systematic trading strategies for listed and OTC products
• Maintain production processes, automated trading tools and analytics in Python
• Build historical backtests and analyze market data
• Analyze historical trading activities
• Work on factor models and portfolio optimization problems

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience, including some trading experience
• Masters or PhD in a quantitative field (Math/ CS /ML / Physics / Finance / Operational Research / EE preferred)
• Experience in Fixed Income (preferred)
• Advanced python proficiency
