Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the planning and execution of technology projects. You will assist in coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, managing documentation, and ensuring adherence to development processes. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who want to grow into a full ownership Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
Assist in defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and task assignments.
Support senior PMs or Engineering Leads in maintaining project plans and sprint schedules.
Ensure tasks and milestones are clearly tracked in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
Progress Tracking
Monitor daily progress of tasks and report status updates.
Identify potential delays or blockers and escalate to the PM or relevant stakeholders.
Track sprint commitments and ensure timely follow-up.
Risk & Issue Support
Help identify project risks and document mitigation plans.
Maintain issue logs and ensure action items are followed up.
Coordinate basic incident communication when needed.
Meeting & Communication Facilitation
Organize sprint ceremonies (stand-up, planning, review, retrospective).
Prepare meeting notes and ensure action items are clearly documented.
Provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
Process & Quality Support
Ensure teams follow defined Agile/Scrum processes.
Track compliance with code review, testing, and deployment workflows.
Suggest process improvements based on observations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation and dashboards.
Prepare weekly status reports.
Assist in post-project retrospectives and documentation of lessons learned.
Job Requirements
1-3 years experience in IT Software Project Management, or software team support.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
Good understanding of CI/CD and deployment workflow is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
Basic risk identification and reporting capability.
Soft Skills
