Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior/Global Product Manager, the Junior Product Manager assists in managing the day-to-day product lifecycle activities for a specific range of semiconductor packaging materials. This role focuses on executing tactical plans, gathering market data, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and performance in the market.
Key Tasks:
- Product Lifecycle Support for Semiconductor Bonding wire materials:
- Assist in maintaining and executing defined product roadmaps under guidance.
- Support the administration of PCN & PTN, including documentation and status tracking.
- Market & Customer Intelligence:
- Collect, compile, and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and competing technologies.
- Support customer engagement to gather initial product feedback and Voice of Customer (VoC)
- Product Development Process (PDP) Coordination:
- Participate as a project team member in the PDP, responsible for meeting coordination, documentation, and tracking of action items.
- Assist in preparing basic data packs and supporting materials for gate reviews and business case development.
- Commercial & Sales Support:
- Assist in pricing, creating and updating standard product information, FAQs, and basic sales collateral for the sales organization.
- Operational & Planning Support:
- Assist in gathering and organizing baseline data to support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budget preparation.
- Act as a liaison to support communication between Technical Solutions Managers, Marketing, and Sales during product launch (MIPs) activities.
Accountability:
- Accountable for the quality and timely delivery of assigned routine tasks (e.g., data collection, report generation).
- Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of foundational product data (e.g., pricing lists, sales figures) for assigned products.
- Accountable for effective communication and documentation within assigned project coordination duties.
Authority:
- Works within established product strategies, guidelines, and processes.
- Has the authority to handle routine inquiries, data updates, and standard administrative processes according to defined procedures.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A focus in Precious Metal or Materials Science is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience or prior experience as a Product Specialist/Assistant are welcome to apply.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong interest in the semiconductor industry, specifically in packaging materials and processes. Prior internship or academic exposure to the field is a significant advantage.
