Junior Oracle DBA (24*7 Shifts)

Job Description

(Oracle DBA with automation skillset)

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases (including RAC and Data Guard environments).

Manage database security, user access, and compliance.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.

Monitor database health, performance, and capacity planning.

Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating routine DBA tasks such as backups, patching, monitoring, and reporting.

Design and implement automated solutions for database provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.

Streamline and standardize database operational processes through automation.

Strong communication skills and ability to add recommendations to ensure optimal application performance with Oracle.

Must be willing to work on 24x7 rotational shift. Weekend support as needed. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
