. Administration and management of IT Infrastructure and data centre support, which include basic systems,
network, database and application support.
. Respond to the incoming alerts (system triggered, e-mail etc.)
. Monitor infrastructure and applications using monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Grafana)
. Assess incoming alerts to understand their severity, and impact before escalating
. Log, update and manage incidents, requests and changes in ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
. Perform basic health checks, service restarts and routine operational task
. Follow documented support procedures for incident management, which include identifying and determining
the root cause and resolving the incident or escalate to the appropriate resolver group according to SLA
(Service level Agreement).
. Maintenance of technical documentation (for NOC) of processes and procedures used throughout normal
operations.
Requirements:
(Indicate the qualifications, education, associated training, background knowledge, skills
and attributes to perform the job competently)
. Recognized Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Information Systems
. Possess basic working knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Server and/or Linux and/or Unix
Systems administration
. Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
. Customer-oriented, patient, meticulous and a strong team player.
. Strong & effective communication and interpersonal skills with desire to work as part of a team.
. Aptitude to learn and pick up new skillsets in Systems and Network related Technologies as part of career
progression and advancement.
. Willing and able to perform 12-hour Shift Work including weekends and public holidays.
