Junior Mechanical Engineer

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES

. Performbasic drafting for submission and construction drawings including layoutdrawing and schematic diagrams

. Toreview and design mechanical ventilation system including pressurisationsystem, engineering smoke control system, car park ventilation system, etc.

. Toreview and design fire protection system including fire alarm detection,sprinkler, hydrant, hosereel, water mist, etc.

. Performprescriptive based submissions to Fire Safety Department (FSD)

. Attendmeetings with clients, consultants, inspectors and authorities

REQUIREMENTS

.Outstanding numerical and communication skills (written and verbal)

. Able towork in teams

.Attention to detail and iterations

.Candidate is expected to be autonomous under supervision and guidance

. Basicfamiliarity with Fire Code 2023, local code of practices and standards

. Freshgraduates are welcome to apply

.Candidates with prior experience in M&E consultancy firms may be consideredfor a higher starting salary

ACADEMICQUALIFICATIONS

. MinimumB.Eng. (Mechanical) from a recognised institution.
