About the Team

Marketing's main objective is to drive discovery and product adoption through marketing initiatives among our small and medium sized (SMB) businesses with a key focus on externalizing product priorities and messaging with customer journey and relevancy in mind.

Our goal is to contribute to our SMB team business priorities related to incremental product adoption and incremental rev. uplift based on cross-channel marketing initiatives.

The Junior Marketing Analyst will support the analytical needs of the Global SMB Marketing organization, with a focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our existing measurement tools. This role will partner closely with regional marketing teams to track and report on campaign performance, serving as their primary point of contact for day-to-day analytics and reporting questions. The analyst will ensure regions can accurately measure incremental revenue, ROI, and overall marketing effectiveness. This position will also collaborate regularly with the Data Analyst Manager on reporting enhancements and data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

Pre-Campaign Forecasting and Strategic Planning:

  • Assist and guide teams to set realistic targets and goals based on insights in terms of incremental ROI
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to derive actionable insights and recommendations for performance optimization
  • Present findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven decision-making into marketing strategies
  • Support A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to improve outcomes
  • Educate regional marketing teams on campaign success measurement methodologies and ensure consistent understanding and adoption across all regions
  • Prepare data for recurring QBRs, financial reviews, and senior cross-functional stakeholders

Reporting and Infrastructure:

  • Build and maintain reports, CRM dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance
  • Distill and present research and data to Marketing in the form of outlines, visualizations and presentations to enable the business to develop and fine-tune its business ideas and strategy
  • Track campaign effectiveness through backend development tools and analytics
  • Lead data analysis by extracting meaningful insights from large and complex datasets to identify trends, areas of improvement - communicating key findings and actionable recommendations
  • Responsibilities may include SQL dataset creation & troubleshooting and dashboard development & maintenance
  • Ensure seamless communication within a complex institution encompassing multiple markets and geographic regions
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights and support a culture of data-driven decision making

Qualifications

  • Experience measuring marketing and communications campaign effectiveness based on predefined campaign success metrics (e.g., conversions, ROI, etc)
  • Strong understanding of marketing metrics with past experience in building campaign KPIs and constructing measurement and attribution frameworks
  • Proven experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Strong digital marketing analytics skills, such as but not limited to web analytics, email, machine learning, data-driven decision making, customer data management, search engine optimization, search engine marketing
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work with and communicate complex data-driven insights to diverse audiences of varying seniority level.
  • Must be comfortable using substantiated data to both identify and solve problems and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and web analytics tools
  • Experience with and working knowledge of SQL and spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
