We are transitioning our deep physical market expertise into high-value Market Intelligence and OTC Financial Contract Support. We are looking for an inquisitive, high-performing junior to help us build the intelligence engine for our IPP and large-scale distributor clients.

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, inquisitive Junior Analyst to be the bridge between complex data and actionable market intelligence. You will be responsible for tracking the pulse of the renewable energy supply chain, with a heavy emphasis on the Chinese market-the heart of global solar and battery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence: Monitor and synthesize industry reports, policy updates, and news sources in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Data Analysis: Maintain and update proprietary databases on Solar PV pricing, BESS capacity, and global trade flows.
• Visualisation: Create clear, compelling charts and dashboards to help our clients understand market trends.
• Partner Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for our Chinese partners, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.

Requirement Highlights

• Mandarin Mastery: Must be able to read and discuss technical solar/financial documents in Chinese daily.
• Analytical Rigor: Good command of Excel / Googlesheet. Good command of data visualisation tools would be a big plus (e.g. Looker Studio, Power BI). Good command of general AI applications. Comfortable with time series and related softwares. An obsession with detail.
• The Mindset: You don't wait for instructions you identify market shifts and bring them to the team in an actionable format.

This role is designed to groom you into a Specialist Swaps Broker. We will provide the mentorship and industry exposure needed to move from analysing the market to structuring financial hedges for some of the largest players in the renewable energy space.
