Job Summary
Provide application support and development assistance for Java J2EE systems, ensuring operational stability and meeting service level agreements in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with shift work requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Java J2EE applications to maintain system performance and reliability
- Execute Unix commands and write SQL queries to diagnose and resolve application issues
- Manage and monitor web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS servers, MariaDB databases, and Shell scripts for smooth operations
- Configure and maintain job scheduling, MQ setup, and C:D setup to optimize application workflows (plus)
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver quality support and meet SLAs without compromise
- Demonstrate ownership by proactively identifying and resolving issues during shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and processes with a strong commitment to continuous learning
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of support requests
Required competencies and certifications
- Graduate degree in IT or Computer Science
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Linux operating systems
- Minimum 1 year experience in application support or development role involving Java, Unix, and SQL
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Exposure to the banking industry
- Experience with job scheduling, MQ setup, and C:D setup

- Shift allowance included in monthly hiring rate
- Transport claims available before 7am (morning shift) and after 11pm (afternoon shift)
- Shift timings: Morning (6am-3pm), General (9am-6pm), Afternoon (2pm-11pm), Night (10pm-7am)
- Support coverage includes night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
