Junior L2 Production Support

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Java J2EE Application Support Analyst to provide application support and development assistance in a banking environment. The role requires hands-on experience with Java, SQL, and Unix, along with a willingness to learn and take ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Java/J2EE applications.

• Troubleshoot issues, run SQL queries, and execute Unix shell scripts.

• Manage batch jobs, job scheduling, and deployments (JBOSS, MariaDB, MQ).

• Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Maintain documentation and meet SLAs with high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year experience in application support or developers willing to learn support.

• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, Unix/Linux commands.

• Exposure to banking/financial industry is a plus.

• Strong team player with ownership mindset and eagerness to learn.
