Junior L2 Application Support (Bank / SQL & LINUX required)

We are looking for 3 motivated Singaporean to join us as a Junior L2 Production Support Analyst on a 1 year contract, assisting in the smooth operation and maintenance of our client's banking applications.

This role will collaborate closely with development teams to perform system health checks, support application recovery, and handle production-related tasks.

Location: Changi Business Park

Salary inclusive of allowance: $3800 - $4500 (Depend on experience and Company do not provide bonus)

Shift Schedule (Need to support including night shift, weekends and public holidays):

• Morning shift: 6am to 3pm
• General shift: 9am to 6pm
• Afternoon shift: 2pm to 11pm
• Night shift: 10pm to 7am
• NOTE: Shift timing is subjected to change to 12 hour shifts

Transport is claimable - before 7am (for morning shift 6am to 3pm), after 11pm (afternoon shift 2pm to 11pm)

Requirements:

• Singaporean
• Degree in IT / Computer Science
• Must be strong in Linux and SQL, and must have working experiences using Linux/SQL commands (There will be test and hackerank assessment)
• Hands-on experience supporting applications on Linux platforms
• 1 - 2 experiences in Application/Production Support
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with shift schedules subject to change to 12-hour shifts.
• Candidates with Application Support and Banking experience are preferred.
• Need to have eagerness to learn and perform with commitment
• Able to commit for a 1 year contract
• Need to serve 2 months notice if hired for this role
• Must clear client security & pre-employment checks before onboarding

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Unix commands , SQL queries
• Recent experience in working with Java J2EE applications
• Experience in application support role for min 1 years for support or Developers willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
• Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE.
• Knowledge of web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, SQL, Shell
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, MQ setup , C:D setup experience is a plus
• Exposure to banking industry is a plus
• Dynamic individual with thirst to learn
• Strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
• Ownership oriented and ability to meet SLAs with no compromise on the quality of the work
