Responsibilities
- Develop scalable applications using Spring Boot, MongoDB, Docker, and Openshift/Kubernetes to meet business needs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and clarify project requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for delivered features
- Work closely with internal technical teams and business users to investigate issues, conduct testing, and manage deployments
- Support existing applications by troubleshooting, fixing bugs, upgrading, and modifying functionality to maintain performance
- Manage release processes including raising Change Requests and scheduling implementation of fixes and enhancements
- Deploy releases, patches, and fixes on the platform to ensure continuous operation
- Analyze application performance, perform tuning, and maintain high availability and stability of the platform
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on programming and application development experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST/API, RTPM
- Experience building cloud-native applications, microservices, and working with cloud platforms such as Openshift or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB or other relational databases
- Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket for version control
- Knowledge of automated build pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy scripting
- Experience working within agile development methodologies and processes
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
