We are looking for a motivated Junior Izakaya Chef to grow with our back kitchen team and contribute to authentic Japanese dining. We are committed to delivering authentic Japanese flavors with quality, consistency, and seasonality.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Japanese dishes in a izakaya setting.
- Support ingredient and seasoning management.
- Uphold consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of culinary experience (Japanese cuisine preferred).
- Basic understanding of Japanese seasonings, dashi, and cooking techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: SGD $3,000 - $4,000
- Work Schedule: 6 days per week
